Buddies Lamb Ground for Dogs

Our Lamb Ground is perfect for dogs of all ages and sizes. It comes in 1/2lb blocks, sold in 10lb boxes and individual portions.

We do not recommend feeding any of our single protein products on their own, rather they are designed to be mixed and matched. With Raw Feeding variety of proteins is key, both Red and White meats, as well as a calcium source (bone) and organ content being absolutely necessary. Without ensuring these things your pet will be lacking essentials nutrients.

Lamb Ground is a muscle meat only blend, lacking in calcium and organ content. It pairs well with Chicken or Turkey Premium, where is gets calcium (bone) and organ.

Boneless blend such as our Lamb Ground can also be used in addition to our Butcher Blocks to dilute the bone content and add another protein into their diet. Every dog is different and can tolerate different levels of bone content. If you’re feeding Butcher Blocks and find your pup is having “dusty” stool or getting a little backed up adding some Lamb Ground is a great way to loosen things up!

Why We Include:

Boneless Lamb: Lamb is an excellent source of protein and is a significant source of vitamin B6, vitamin B12, niacin, pantothenic acid, riboflavin and thiamin. It is also a significant source of copper, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, selenium and zinc. It contains trace amounts of calcium, sodium and manganese. It contains no fibre or sugars. As lamb is high in fat, it is best not given to dogs with pancreatic issues or dogs who are overweight.
